The Sales Specialist is responsible for selling agronomy products- both retail and wholesale, and providing customer care regarding agronomy.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with targeted customers and prospects
  • Responsible for developing business, marketing agronomy products (chemicals, fertilizer and seed) to enhance the producers business
  • Serves as the point of contact for customer care to discuss agronomy, provide problem resolution and take inquiries about the products

 

Key Qualifications

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent; college degree in agriculture-related field is preferred
  • Must have demonstrated sales success in agriculture
  • Farm background with strong agronomy technical knowledge
  • Ideal candidate should be a strong communicator
  • Self-starter with the ability to form strong business relationships
